Kwu Tung Produce - Printmaking Harvest Festival Community Project

"Kwu Tung Produce - Printmaking Harvest Festival" is a community project co-curated by OHH Dear Communications and printmaking artist Winki Cho. The initiative originated from the Jockey Club ARTISTRY Creative Aging Project (organized by the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Hong Kong, ELCHK). During her residency in 2022, Cho collaborated with around ten elders from Kwu Tung Village on printmaking art. Even after the residency concluded, the group has continued to gather and create art together.

The project comprises one main exhibition and two mobile exhibitions, showcasing three years of artistic growth by Kwu Tung's senior printmaking collective under Cho's guidance. Built upon interviews with the participating elders, the exhibitions showcase how they translate their life experiences into artwork—offering a window into their creative ideas, aesthetics, and worldviews.

Grounded in rural living, their works feature recurring themes such as towering trees, birds, rainfall, food, and everyday routines. Together, they paint a vivid portrait of countryside life: the harmonious bond between villagers and nature, their aspiration for a plentiful life, and their deep reverence for local deities and traditional culture.

Following the main exhibition, the curatorial team brought these creations to Viva Blue House in Wan Chai and Quarryside in Quarry Bay. Through mobile displays, guided tours, film screenings, and hands-on workshops, the project successfully bridged the Kwu Tung elders with younger generations, drawing more than 7,000 visitors in total.

GSK Pertussis Disease awareness TVC

Pertussis is a very contagious disease among people aged 50 or above. However, disease awareness among this age group is low, as well as the vaccinated population for pertussis prevention. Therefore, our campaign objective is to raise awareness and encourage elderly to get vaccinated in order to protect themselves and their family.

We produced a 15-sec TVC, featuring celebrity Louise Lee Sze Kee, who played the role of a wise and calm grandma and have vaccinated. She brings out the benefit of vaccination during a mah-jong gathering with other unvaccinated elderlies who are worried about getting infected. In order to capture video viewers’ attention, exaggerated scenes were adopted to highlight the infectiousness and severity of Pertussis. Also, with an interesting contrast between vaccinated grandma (Louise) and unvaccinated elderly, we delivered a very persuasive call to action.
