In 2024, OHH Dear Communications collaborated with the Hong Kong YWCA Tin Shui Wai Integrated Social Service Centre’s “Tin Library” to co-curate the “Generations Hong Kong-style café (Bing Sutt)” community project. By creating immersive scenes and roles, a school activity room was transformed into a traditional Hong Kong-style café (Bing Sutt), inviting four secondary schools and two elderly centres in the Tin Shui Wai district to participate. The project used this uncommon setting and innovative, lively methods to connect seniors and students.

Generations Hong Kong-style café (Bing Sutt) Community Project
By creating a relaxed, everyday atmosphere and incorporating props, the project brought the ambience, food, and even the staff uniforms of a Bing Sutt into the school. This not only evoked a sense of familiarity for seniors newly entering the campus but also helped students relax and get to know the seniors over a cup of tea. The workshops centred around Bing Sutt culture, life in Tin Shui Wai, and topics such as ideal partners and romance.
The "Generations Hong Kong-style café (Bing Sutt)" community project held four sessions in total, with over 40 seniors and more than 60 students participating. Participating groups included Caritas District Elderly Centre - Yuen Long (Tin Chak Centre), Neighbourhood Advice-Action Council Tin Shui Neighbourhood Elderly Centre, Ju Ching Chu Secondary School (Yuen Long), Pui Shing Catholic Secondary School, Jockey Club Man Kwan EduYoung College, and Queen Elizabeth School Old Students' Association Tong Kwok Wah Secondary School.
From June to July of the same year, the Generations Hong Kong-style café (Bing Sutt)” community project was exhibited at the “Life Exchange” Community Art Exhibition. The display featured over a hundred Bing Sutt teacups shared by participants along with instant photos taken with the seniors. The exhibition showcased 60 sets of works in total.
